Cinnamon and Sugar Popcorn

This isn't your everyday popcorn. It's a cinnamon goodness that won't last very long once you make it. Get everyone together in the kitchen to make a batch of this for your next family night.

Ingredients

1 cup unpopped popcorn
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup honey
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions

Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

Pop the popcorn using an air popper and place in a large bowl. While the popcorn is popping melt the butter in a small saucepan. Add the honey, cinnamon, salt and vanilla and cook until thick and bubbly.

Slowly pour cinnamon mixture over popcorn while stirring. Mix until your popcorn is evenly coated. Spread popcorn onto a large baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat of the oven and let the popcorn set in the oven for another 20 minutes.

We ate the popcorn slightly warm, because we couldn't wait, but it taste great cooled too. A perfect make-ahead popcorn! It would be great for road trips and after school snacks.
