Holidays For June

I'm going to start a new thing each month. If you have been following this blog for any length of time, you know that I am obsessed with holidays: traditional and non. Any excuse to have a mini party and to do something out of the ordinary is good enough for me. I'm going to start giving you a list of all the fun holidays for each month. Start getting creative and having some unusual fun!

4 - Doughnut Day - sounds like a good breakfast to me!

4 - National Trails Day - Go for a hike

6 - Drive-In Movie Day - Make some popcorn and head to the drive-ins

14 - Family History Day - fill out a pedigree chart together

14 - Flag Day - Make sure to get your flags back out

15 - Nature Photography Day - do a photo scavenger hunt w/ nature topics

16 - Fudge Day - Spend some time in the kitchen together, or visit a local candy shop and try a couple of different kinds of fudge

18 - International Sushi Day - Never tried Sushi before? Start with something simple. California rolls are easy and they don't contain raw fish. You can get braver from there.

19 - FATHER'S DAY - (I'll have a whole week of ideas starting in a few days ;o)

21 - Go Skateboarding Day - the kids might have a ball watching the parents trying this one out. Be brave and go do something out of your comfort zone.

21 - First Day of Summer!!!! - I will have A LOT of summer ideas over the next couple of months. Gotta love summer!
