We are heading out for an overnight camping trip and are going to get to do one of my favorite things of the summer: lay outside in a sleeping bag and just gaze at the stars.
I can lay there forever just looking at the heavens and all they have to offer. When you are up in the mountains, away from all of the light of civilization, it is so dark that you can see millions of stars. It is quite amazing to look up there and see just how small you are in the realm of things.
Take some time this summer, when the evenings are warm enough to be outside comfortably, and just star gaze with the family. It really is a beautiful thing.
