Indoor S'mores

I love s'mores. Not really eating them per'say - I don't particularly like chocolate, and I'm not a marshmallow fan - but I love the act of making them. There is something magical about sitting around a fire with your peeps roasting those little balls of sugar until golden brown. Why should you have to wait until summer months to enjoy this simple act?

I say, you don't! If you have a fireplace in your home, why on earth would you wait until you could go outside to enjoy this wonderful entertainment. Gather all of your s'more making tools and ingredients, start a fire in the fire place and have have at it: have an indoor s'more party!

There is something that really sticks in the memory banks of a child (and most adults for that matter) when you take an ordinary activity and throw a little spin on it to make it extraordinary. It turns the mundane into magical.

So, don't wait until your next camping trip to enjoy the tasty treat of s'mores! Do it tonight.
