I Need To Take A Sabbatical

This has been something that has been weighing on my mind for some time now. I love this blog and feel an emotional tie to it, along with somewhat of an obligation for whatever reason. Alas, after much deliberation and pondering I have decided to take a sabbatical for a while.

When I first started writing here, I wanted this to be a resource for my kids when they started raising their own kids. I have always been pretty much a holiday geek and am always looking for new and fun ways to celebrate - especially Halloween! I have had so much fun compiling my ideas and gathering ideas from other amazing people. I have made some connections that I never would have otherwise and have had a lot of fun getting to know other bloggers on the interweb.

It is with a slight heavy heart that I am having to walk away for a while. I have been writing for a year and a half now and have outlived all of my guest writers. I feel it's a time in my life where I need to put focus on other areas, like my schooling, to be able to do my best.

I have a lot of ideas rattling around in my brain for this upcoming Halloween, so I am hoping to be back by the first of October. Hopefully I won't loose too many of you in the mean time ;o) Keep me in your bookmarks and check in on me then.
