Spooky Sweet Potato Fries

I love french fries. When it comes to comfort foods, they are definitely at the top of my list. With my sweet potato fries you can eat your fries almost guilt free: and using sweet potatoes in place of russet gives you a boost of vitamin A, which is great for the immune system. The best part - Halloween speaking - is sweet potatoes are orange. Throw some black sesame seeds on there: insta Halloween side dish.

Ingredients:

1 Large Sweet Potato
1 Tb. Olive Oil
1/2 tsp. Onion Salt
1 tsp. Seasoning Salt
Black Sesame Seeds
Cooking Spray

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 425 degrees and spay a baking sheet with non-stick spray.

Cut sweet potato into strips and place in a large zip-lock bag. Add olive oil, onion salt, seasoning salt and sesame seeds - toss potatoes in bag until they are evenly and well coated. Lay in a single layer on prepared baking sheet. Spray tops of fries with a little more non-stick spray.

Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until starting to get golden brown - cooking time will vary based on how thick you cut your strips. Sweet potatoes will not get as crispy as russets, and will remain slightly soft.
