Checking the mail these days is a lot different than it was growing up. With texting, email, instant messaging and video chats no one ever gets anything fun in those little boxes by the road side. Heck, you don't even get bills in there any more - the most you can hope for is solicitations and ads. Let's brighten up someone's day, and mailbox!
Being in the middle of the holiday season that reminds us to be thankful I think it's important to let those in our lives that have given us so much know how grateful we are for them. Take a few minutes to sit down and write a thank-you note to those wonderful influences. Don't send them a text, or a message on Facebook, actually sit down with pen and paper, write out a letter and put it in the mail.
Just think of how excited everyone is going to be to get an actual letter in the mail? I know I would love it! Get old school and make someone's day.
