October Wacky Holidays

October is one of my favorite months. The season is starting to shift to cool crisp mornings but sunny warm afternoons, the leaves on the trees are turning beautiful colors and Halloween is just around the corner! I LOVE Halloween. It is a time of year that you can just put your adult hat away for a while and act like a kid and it's acceptable. Halloween is also the official marker for the start of the holidays, and I love the entire holiday season.

Family Strong will be taking on a bit of a change today to get into the Halloween spirit. We have signed up to participate in the Countdown to Halloween. Every post, all month long, will be centered around this marvelous holiday. I have notebooks and a brain just bursting with ideas to keep us busy all month long. If you need even more ideas, then check out the Countdown: there are tons of other bloggers participating all month so you are sure to find more information than you know what to do with.
Take off the hat, let your hair down, and just have a blast with Halloween. It's a kids holiday, so lets all be kids!! I'm in!
