Snow days can be such a drag. It's cold outside, you can't go anywhere and the kids are home from school bored: but with the right mind set they can be a blast.
Last week I did a post 10 Snow Day Ideas to get your creative juices flowing. One of our readers really went to town with one of the ideas and had a blast all day with her girls.
Adrea Barton sent me these pictures of her and her girls utilizing all of the wonderful white stuff. They decided to get off the couch and do something fun and productive together: they built a snow fort, equipped with amo for a great snowball fight.
Andrea said it took several hours to build, and the girls faded in and out with trips in for hot chocolate and back out again, but they got it done and had a blast with it.
Here were their snow fort stages. I am completely impressed!!! What a great way to spend a snow day together as a family! Thanks for sharing Andrea!
