It's the simple things in life that make it great. Soup on a cold day, a candle burning to cozy up a room, and spiders in your ice cubes to freak out my daughter - who is scared of spiders - these are a few of my favorite things. This is such a simple, cheap, and fun thing to do during the Halloween holiday, everyone should have spider ice cubes in their freezer!
This idea is as easy as it gets. Get a bag of little plastic spiders - you can find them for a dollar to two at any party store - and plop one into each ice cube section in the ice cube tray. Fill with water, freeze, and your ready to go.
The best way to actually startle someone with this is to fill a glass with regular ice cubes, and only have one of them have a spider in it, that way the don't see it right away. If you don't have a malicious sense of humor like I do, then just make it fun by filling a glass with all spider cubes. Either way, spider cubes are awesome.
